At times it appears that completely supportive of her and all the opportunities that Jade has been given and at other times it almost seems as though she is jealous? Why do you think she displays these mixed emotions? How do you suppose it makes Jade feel?

I feel she is happy but no one is perfect and it is very hard to control your emotions sometimes. So in my opinion, she is happy but mixed with a bit of anger and jealousy and sometimes negative emotions can take over positive emotions.
