A federal agency that was formed after the Civil war had led to freedom for enslaved people. Their role was to help the formerly enslaved people transition to a normal life.

Ku Klux Klan

A white supremacist group that was formed around the time the Civil war began. They are mostly against Black Americans as they believe that whites should be supreme to all races and this has led to them engaging in terrorist activities against Blacks.
