Ancient Egypt is one of the ancient civilization in the world. They conducted trade through overland and sea routes. The Egyptians carried out the trade by ships on the Nile and the Mediterranean. Trade conducted without the use of money. Barter system was present were goods exchanged. Egypt officials collected goods at a central area and distributed. With no presence of money, grains played a crucial role in payment and storage became necessary for holding good in large quantities.
