Geography

A glacier's weight, combined with its gradual movement, can drastically reshape the landscape over hundreds or even thousands of years. The ice erodes the land surface and carries the broken rocks and soil debris far from their original places, resulting in some interesting glacial landforms.

They mostly affect the landscape because of the face that they could stay frozen for hundreds or even thousands of years. Another way is that if a glacier runs into land, it will destroy a lot of it. Hope this helps and mark me brainliest!

What are some ways in which the Chang Jiang influences human system in China
Zinaida [17]
The flow of the Chang Jiang is some 20 times greater than that of the Huang He. As much of 40% of China's total grain production, 70% of rice output, and more than 40% of the population are associated with the Chang Jiang's vast basin that includes more than 3,000 tributaries. With its numerous tributaries, the Chang Jiang drains nearly 20% of China's total area. Its upper reaches tap the uplands of the Tibetan Plateau before sweeping across the enormous and agriculturally productive Sichuan Basin that supports nearly 10% of China's total population. It is in the middle course of the Chang Jiang that the controversial Three Gorges Dam is being constructed.

Which body of water is arrow one (1) pointing to on the map above? A. the Coral Sea B. the Tasman Sea C. the Gulf of Carpentaria
Lilit [14]

The correct answer is - D. the Great Australian Bight.

The Great Australian Bight is a body of water that is located south of the Australian mainland. It is spread in most of the southern coast of the continent, and in general it is a shallow body of water that looks like it is penetrating into the continent because in this part Australia has an inward half circular shape. Because it is mainly shallow body of water, and the coast in this part is mostly flat, it is not a place that is suitable for creating ports.
