No, it doesn't.

Explanation:

The word gorged, (at least in this sentence) means to eat till you are stuffed to eat an excess amount. So to say that you gorged yourself one half of an apple, doesn't make sense. However if you said I gorged myself on 3 apple, that would make more sense, because you are properly using the word.
