Answer:

Overthinking or over analyzing what you have already written down, fear of not doing as well or better than you have written in the past, fear of how others will judge your work, substance abuse and mental health challenges, attention deficit, distractions in your work environment such as noise, clutter, bright lights and so forth, lack of rest, food or exercise could do it too. Parts of the brain responsible for creativity can sometimes be fatigued and underactive.

6. Look closely at the passages involving the narrator's original household,
sergij07 [2.7K]

Answer and Explanation:

This question is about the short story "The Black Cat" by Edgar Allan Poe.

The narrator is originally a good man who, in the end, kills his own wife and their black cat.

Poe uses several symbols to portray the narrator's mental state. The original household, a good house where the narrator and his wife lived with several pets, represents freedom and balance. That was when the narrator was still a sane, loving man. The fire that destroys his home represents the decay of his mental state, its deterioration. Just like the fire consumed the house, alcoholism is consuming the narrator and his qualities. Finally, the impoverished house and the cellar - damp, dark, and suffocating - represent his insanity. The narrator is now trapped in his own craziness.

How many of the monsters or threats to Odysseus in this part of the epic are female? What do you think of the way women are port
ki77a [65]
Four of the threats that faced Odysseus were women; Calypso, Circe, the Sirens and Scylla. The women are either represented as promiscuous or dangerous because of their actions towards Odysseus. Calypso and Circe both sleep with Odysseus even after causing him harm. Also, the Sirens wanted to harm Odysseus and his shipmen while Scylla ate six of the men. I think most women in the epic so far are shown as not respected and the fact that they are easily defeated by Odysseus shows that they are not as powerful.
