Given:
total of 224 visitors
older than 18  paid $12
18 and below paid $8
total collection 2,520

Let l be visitors older than 18 and m be visitors 18 and below.

l + m = 224
12l + 8m = 2,520

l = 224 - m
12(224 - m) + 8m = 2520
2688 - 12m + 8m = 2520
-4m = 2520 - 2688
-4m = -168
m = -168/-4
m = 42    number of visitors 18 and below.

l = 224 - m
l = 224 - 42
l = 182 number of visitors older than 18.

12(182) + 8(42) = 2520
2184 + 336 = 2520
2520 = 2520

Fiesta28 [93]

Answer:

84°

Step-by-step explanation:

The circle has five central angles that together equal to 360°.

55° + 37° + 96° + 88° = 276°

Hence, to find the fifth central angle, we have to subtract 276° from 360°.

360° - 276° = 84°

The degree measure of the last central angle is 84°.

Hope this helps! :)

Natali5045456 [20]
So the tenth place is the x in this number 2.x

so rounding to the tenth 5.07
7>5 so round up to 10
5.10

so 13.00

5.10=3 pounds
try and divide by 3
1.7=1 pound

divide 13 by 1.7
13/1.7=7.6 pounds

Let U = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8}, A =
mr_godi [17]

The equivalent set will be <u>A U B = {1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 8}</u>

<h3>Set theory</h3>

Given the following sets

U = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8},

A ={2, 4, 6},

B = {1, 2, 5, 8},C = {1, 3, 7}

Required sets

A U B

Since union means that we are to write out all the values in the set A and B, hence the equivalent set will be;

A U B = {1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 8}
