Though unemployment during the Great Depression was widespread, it was higher in some parts of the United States than in others.

An economic historian creates a table based on existing unemployment data from the Depression, while a cultural historian interviews people who were unemployed at the time. What information would the cultural historian receive that the economic historian would not?

On the other hand, the economic historian that creates a table based on unemployment data from the Depression, will not be in contact with the personal experiences of the unemployed people from that time, as he is studying with hard facts like statistics instead.
