Kaddo's Wall is a story about a foolish wealthy man who was greedy and selfish and refused to help the poor even though he had millet around his house.

Kaddo seeked help from Sogole and even though he treated the villagers badly, Sogole helped him. Kaddo did not help the poor when they neeedded his assistance. In the end of the story,

Kaddo eventually died due to his selfishness. Sogole's action developed the theme of the story by showing that wealth does not excuse selfish behavior.
