Answer:

The median is 58.5

The first/Lower Quartile is 55

The third/upper Quartile is 65

The interquartile range is 60

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the median you put all the numbers in order and mark off one from the left and then one from the right. Keep repeating until you only have one number left. If you have two then add the two numbers and then divide by 2. That will be your answer.

You find the first/lower quartile by do  the same as yo would with the median accept only using the numbers left of the median.

You find the third/upper quartile by doing the same as you would the first/lower quartile accept just use the numbers to the right of the median.

And finally you find the interquartile range by taking the first/lower quartile and the third/upper quartile and add them up and divide by 2.

hope this helps!

lamar brought 3 CDs that were each the same price. including sales tax he paid a total of 40.20 of that total,2.70 was tax. what
Nastasia [14]

Answer:

The price of each CD before tax is $12.50.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Lamar bought 3 CDs that were each the same price, including sales tax he paid a total of 40.20.

Of that total,2.70 was tax.

Now, to find the price of each CD before tax.

So, we reduce the tax from total:

40.20-2.70=37.50

Now, as given the price of each were same:

37.50\div3=12.50

Therefore, the price of each CD before tax is $12.50.
