Answer:

1. The Portuguese establish sugar plantations on islands off the coast of West Africa;

2. Portuguese laborers are unwilling to leave their homeland;

3. The Portuguese bring in slaves to work on their plantations;

4. Other European countries also start purchasing enslaved Africans;

The Portuguese didn't really investigated the situation about the labor force before they make sugar plantations, so they set them up, and it turned out that the Portuguese people are not willing to come and work on them, so they were left with plantations without laborers. Since they didn't wanted this investment to be for nothing, they started buying African slaves from some of the stronger tribes that were keeping slaves. They used them as labor force afterwards, and saw the long term benefit of it, so started to purchase more and more slaves. After the word spread out, and also after the other European countries started to have colonies, they too started to purchase African slaves, thus making it a huge business for both, them and the stronger African tribes that were selling the slaves to them.

Andru [333]

The correct option is:"Increased death toll and violence of King Philip's War Native Americans' "

Iroquois access to firearms through Dutch and then English merchants along the Hudson River increased casualties in the war. This greater bloodshed, previously unseen in the Iroquois war, increased the practice of the "Mourning Wars": the Iroquois attacked neighboring groups to take captives, which were ritually adopted to replace the dead Iroquois; thus a cycle of violence and war intensified. More significantly, the new infectious diseases brought by the French decimated the native groups and broke up their communities. Combined with war, the disease led to the almost destruction of the ferret village in 1650

Select factors contributing to efficient production.
Ganezh [65]

Answer:

hope this helped!! (answer is in the explanation)

:) have a good day filled with joy and love!!

Explanation:

mass production:

Anything consumers needed or desired could be made in larger quantities. Mass production resulted in lower prices of consumer goods. Eventually, economies of scale resulted in the most affordable price of any product for the consumer without the manufacturer having to sacrifice profits.

stockholders:

A common problem that arises for companies with numerous stakeholders is that the various stakeholder interests may not align. In fact, the interests may be in direct conflict. For example, the primary goal of a corporation, from the perspective of its shareholders, is to maximize profits and enhance shareholder   valueSince labor costs are unavoidable for most companies, a company may seek to keep these costs under tight control. This is likely to upset another group of stakeholders, its employees. The most efficient companies successfully manage the interests and expectations of all their stakeholders.

standardized parts:

Interchangeable parts, popularized in America when Eli Whitney used them to assemble muskets in the first years of the 19th century, allowed relatively unskilled workers to produce large numbers of weapons quickly and at lower cost, and made repair and replacement of parts infinitely easier
