Plz help. DON'T ANSWER IF YOU DON'T KNOW!!

English

Answer:

see explanation

Explanation:

a) Based on the posters, the viewer can gather that the novel is set in farmland because of the haybales and the two men walking through a farming field. Furthermore, the clothing the characters are wearing tells us that not only is the plot set on a farm but that it is set in an earlier time period as seen in the more modest clothing and dress typical to  1930's American wear.

b) I do not believe the quote stated on the poster depicting Curley's wife talking is effective in portraying the overall theme and storyline of the book. Curley's wife is a character who's prescene entirely centers around male ideals- she is seen as a sex object for many of the men on the farm- and is disregarded in the plot. This poster referencing her gives the reader the idea that she has some power in the novel and that she is an important character. The second poster gives little information to the reader, however by diving deeper into its details, as explained in question (a), we can draw conclusions from it such as where and when the plot is taking place.

c) The film poster is vague and first seeing it makes me think that the book is only discussing farm life in the 1930s whereas the actual plot is about loyalty, friendship, and doing what is right. The film poster leaves much up to the viewer without drawing them into the plot or the characters and therefore I do not think the film poster is effective in making me want to read or watch the film Of Mice and Men.

Which excerpt from “A Poem for My Librarian, Mrs. Long” gives the best example of an implicit detail?
shepuryov [24]

Answer:

the implicit details is given off in the excerpt, "And Mrs. Long opened that wardrobe, But no lions or witches scared me"

Correct Answer : Option D.

Explanation:

"And Mrs. Long opened that wardrobe, But no lions or witches scared me" sets the best example of an implicit detail as the wardrobe opening and nothing out of that wardrobe forms the basis of scariness.

the aforesaid lines sets to be an implicit detail as the writer has coincided the fact with the book named, The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, written by C. S. Lewis.

here the said excerpt creates the allusion without being need to be clarified further and hence forms the implicit detail.
