Answer:

2× +46 + 3×-6 =90

sx+40=90

5X=90-40

X=10

frist angle= 2×10+46= 66

secnd angle= 90- 66 = 2 4

Help! The options are: proportional , not proportional
storchak [24]

Answer:  Not proportional

=======================================================

Explanation:

Let's assume the two fractions are equal.

If so, then,

\frac{0.2}{2.6} = \frac{0.3}{3.6}\\\\0.2*3.6 = 2.6*0.3\\\\0.72 = 0.78

The last equation is false, so the first equation is false.

Therefore, the two ratios are <u>not</u> proportional.

-------------

Another approach:

Calculate the decimal value of each fraction

\frac{0.2}{2.6} \approx 0.07692\\\\\frac{0.3}{3.6} \approx 0.08333\\\\

The two ratios result in different decimal values, so the two ratios are not equal, aka not proportional.

If f(x) = 4x + 3 and g(x) = 3x, evaluate for X = -1/2
miskamm [114]

Answer:

 f(-\frac{1}{2}) = 1

g(-\frac{1}{2} ) = -\frac{3}{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the function f(x) = 4x + 3 and the function g(x) = 3x, to evaluate for x=-\frac{1}{2}, you need to substitute it into each function.

Then, for the function f(x), when  x=-\frac{1}{2}, you get:

 f(-\frac{1}{2}) = 4(-\frac{1}{2}) + 3

 f(-\frac{1}{2}) = 4(-\frac{1}{2}) + 3

 f(-\frac{1}{2}) = -\frac{4}{2}+ 3

 f(-\frac{1}{2}) = -2 + 3

 f(-\frac{1}{2}) = 1

For the function g(x), when  x=-\frac{1}{2}, you get:

g(-\frac{1}{2} ) = 3(-\frac{1}{2})

 g(-\frac{1}{2} ) = -\frac{3}{2}
