Which pair of man will responsible for arranging the purchase of the Louisiana territory
igor_vitrenko [27]

Robert Livingston and James Monroe were the pair of men responsible for the purchasing of Louisiana.

In 1801, Thomas Jefferson sent Livingston (then secretary of foreign affairs) to France, with the goal of purchasing approximately 827,000 square miles of land of the Mississippi River and the port of New Orleans.

Due to his reputation as an honest man as well as a great negotiator, Monroe was appointed by Thomas Jefferson to help Livingston in the negotiations with France that would lead the acquisition of Louisiana to the United States.

The Varnas ordered from top (highest status) to bottom (lower status):

Brahmins (priests, teachers and scholars)

Kshatriyas (warriors, administrators and rulers)

Vaishyas (merchants and farmers)

Shudras (laborers)

Dalits (<em>avarna</em>)

As you can see, the Varnas are fundamentally 4. However there are certain tribes that don't belong to any Varna, such as the Dalits which are classified as <em>avarna</em>.

Hope this clears things up!

The alliance between Great Britain, Russia, and France was known as the
sattari [20]
The answer is B, if this is about WW1. The allied powers was WW2 and involved The U.S.  The Western advance was Britain and France in WW1, I think... Don't quote me on that. And the League of NAtions was the precursor of the UN and was started in between WW1 and WW2 and lasted through WW2. But based on the nations listed, since it is only Russia, Britain and France, The answer would be B. Triple Entente.
