Beverly is correct in wanting to present the use of mathematics in everyday activities, as mathematics is present in several common activities that we carry out every day and that without mathematics it would not be possible to do them. Among these activities Beverly can mention the counting of hours of the day, the contention of the day of the month, the amount of ingredients in a recipe, the dosage of medicines, the distance between the house and her school, the purchase of food, among others activities that involve not only numbers, but simple addition and subtraction operations.
