The tale of The Hound of the Baskervilles by Arthur Conan Doyle begins with a visitor, Dr. Mortimer, approaching Holmes to solve one murder and potentially prevent a second.

Dr. Mortimer's visit is occasioned by two things, the mysterious death of Sir Charles Baskerville and the impending arrival of his heir, Sir Henry. Although the doctor is not by nature superstitious, he does consider it important to apprise Holmes of the legend surrounding the "hound of the Baskervilles", a legend that begins with Hugo Baskerville. The story of the legend is told in the 1742 manuscript.

Hugo Baskerville had abducted a peasant girl. She escaped from the room in which he had imprisoned her and fled. He followed on horseback using hounds to hunt her down. His companions followed him, and saw his horse standing riderless and a great black hound tearing out his throat. Since then, several members of the family have died mysterious deaths. The document warns the Baskervilles avoid the moors at night.

The legend is made relevant by Dr. Mortimer's description of the scene of Sir Charles' death:

Dr. Mortimer looked strangely at us for an instant, and his voice sank almost to a whisper as he answered: "Mr Holmes, they were the footprints of a gigantic hound!” This is the answer! I hope it helped...

Which main idea do the following sentences support? Dark chocolate is rich in minerals. Dark chocolate reduces blood pressure. D
Mila [183]

Answer:

July 10 – mark that date in your calendar! It’s World Chocolate Day, which calls for a celebration. You should mark October 28, too! That’s National Chocolate Day. We can’t complain about having two days devoted to chocolate, can we?

Do you have any ideas about how to celebrate Chocolate days? Here’s a thought: focus on healthy treats instead of sugar-fueled recipes. Dark chocolate has more health benefits than most people assume.

And if you don’t like dark chocolate because of its sweet bitterness, you probably didn’t discover the right way to enjoy it. Here’s how you do it: take a piece in your mouth and don’t chew it. Just allow it to melt on your tongue, and you’ll feel the full flavor of cocoa butter overcoming the bitter notes.

It’s wonderful!

You can use dark chocolate in easy healthy recipes. They are simple, too! You just mix cocoa butter, cocoa, honey, hazelnuts, and vanilla extract. You mold and cool. And there’s your home-made healthy chocolate, ready to be enjoyed.

You might be wondering: what makes the dark bar better than all other types of chocolate? Why should you replace the sugary, milky dessert with the full-on cacao flavor?

10 Great Benefits of Dark Chocolate

1. It Has Antioxidant Properties

Antioxidants protect your body’s cells from heart disease, cancer, and other diseases. That’s because they balance out the damaging effects of free radicals.

Cocoa beans contain flavanols. These are antioxidants, which reduce the damage free radicals cause to the body’s cells.

Although scientific studies are not particularly clear whether eating chocolate reduces the risk of getting certain cancers, they show that flavanols support the heart’s work.

Since these antioxidants are found in cocoa beans, it means you should eat chocolate with a high percentage of cocoa in its ingredient list. Dark chocolate that is.
