Your friend tells you that there is no starch in the homemade cookies she gives you. You like her, but you are not too sure that

she really knows what ingredients might or might not contain starch. When you get the cookies home, what test could you do to quickly test to see if there was starch in the cookies?

Answer:

add iodine solution and look for a color change. If starch is present the color change should be blue/black
