Let x^2+50=0

solve for x first.

x^2=-50
x=+-√-50

Write that as a complex number

x=+-√50i

x=√50i    or     x=-√50i

Hope I helped :)

Answer:

(x+5\sqrt{2}i)(x-5\sqrt{2}i)

Step-by-step explanation:

The factorization is in the form (x-a)(x-b) where a,b are zeros of the equation x^{2} +50=0.

x^{2} =-50

x =\sqrt{-50}

x =\sqrt{50}i = 5\sqrt{2}i and x =-\sqrt{50}i = -5\sqrt{2}i

So, the factorization is (x+5\sqrt{2}i)(x-5\sqrt{2}i)

The upper-left coordinates on a rectangle are (-1, 4) left parenthesis, minus, 1, comma, 4, right parenthesis, and the upper-rig
Zanzabum

Answer:

Kindly refer to the attached images for the answer.

Step-by-step explanation:

Upper left coordinates of a rectangle are (-1, 4).

Upper right coordinates of the rectangle are (3, 4).

Perimeter of the rectangle = 24 units

Let A(-1, 4) and B(3, 4).

First of all, let us find the distance between the coordinates A and B.

Distance formula can be used to find the distance.

<em>Distance formula:</em>

<em></em>D = \sqrt{(x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2}<em></em>

Here, we have the following values:

x_1 = -1 \\y_1 = 4\\x_2 = 3\\y_2 = 4

AB = \sqrt{(3-(-1))^2+(4-4)^2} = 4\ units

Perimeter = 2 (Length + Width)\\\Rightarrow 24 = 2 \times (AB + BC)\\\Rightarrow 24 = 2 \times (4 + BC)\\\Rightarrow BC = 8

When we will move from point B to C, we will move downwards on y axis for a distance of 8 units therefore value of x coordinate will be same.

Therefore coordinates of C (3, 4-8) i.e. C (3, -4)

When we will move from C to D, the x coordinate will decrease for 4 units.

D (3-4, -4) i.e. D (-1, -4)

Kindly refer to the attached images for the answer.

A carpenter can build a cabinet in three hours at this rate how long will it take for the carpenter to build 26 cabinets
Ludmilka [50]

Answer: 78 hours

Step-by-step explanation:

1 cabinet = 3 hours

Fine the exact distance between the line 6x-y=-3 and the point (6,2). Show your work. Explain your answer.
AVprozaik [17]

Answer:

\sqrt{37} units

Step-by-step explanation:

If we draw a perpendicular from point (6,2) on the line 6x - y = - 3, then we have to find the length of the perpendicular.

We know the formula of length of perpendicular from a point (x_{1}, y_{1} ) to the straight line ax + by + c = 0 is given by

\frac{|ax_{1} + by_{1} +c |}{\sqrt{a^{2}+b^{2}}}

Therefore, in our case the perpendicular distance is

\frac{|6(6)-2+3|}{\sqrt{6^{2} +(-1)^{2} } } = \frac{37}{\sqrt{37} } = \sqrt{37}  units. (Answer)
