Answer:

So this quote pretty much means you can't change the circumstances life throws at you but you can make your own choices and have a specific attitude to get what you want. So what you were born into, if your company shuts down, if your dog dies, if it snows the day of your big interview etc. But you can have an specific attitude to get to your goal. So yes it snowed the day of your big interview but you set up another one. So you have to persevere you can work toward your goals no matter what hard thing you face and you can sometimes use your hardships for good. If your company shut down you can find your dream job, if your dog died you can rescue a dog in need, if you were born into a poor family now you can help those who are poor etc.

Segment GH is shown on the graph.
Mashutka [201]

Answer: D) (–2.2, –1.2)

Explanation: to divide the segment into a 3:2 ratio, we need to divide the segment into five identical parts, and find the point that divides the segment into 3/5 and 2/5. To do this we have to calculate the distance between the two points of the segment, in x and y, we can do this by just subtracting the two "y" coordinates and the two "x" coordinates:

Δy=║-4-3║=7

Δx=║-1-(-4)║=3

Then we divide those differences by 5.

7/5=1.4

3/5=0.6

and now, we multiply those results by 3 and subtract them or add them from the coordinates of the point G (subtract them from the coordinate y and add it to the coordinate x, because we are moving down and right).

Px=-4+3*0.6=-2.2

Py=3-3*1.4=-1.2

so the coordinates of the point we are looking for (which I called "P") are:

P(-2.2, -1.2).

What are run on sentences used for
m_a_m_a [10]

Answer:

Run-on sentences, also known as fused sentences, occur when two complete sentences are squashed together without using a coordinating conjunction or proper punctuation, such as a period or a semicolon.

Run-on sentences can be short or long. A long sentence isn’t necessarily a run-on sentence.

Explanation:

The dog kept running the boy kept running. To correct it: The dog and the kid kept running.
