Answer:

The Authors have contrasting views on technology. The first article believes that technology is negatively affected us. It states "Heavy technology users report getting distracted even when they don’t want to be, such as when spending time with their families. Without The Constant Release Of dopamine they feel bored." In the next article it believes that technology has a positive effect on the brain. It says, The fact that students today almost always write for an audience (something virtually no one in my generation did) gives them a different sense of what constitutes good writing." PLEASE I NEED YOU TO EXPLAIN THIS THOROUGHLY TO GET BRAINLIEST ANSWER! Explain the pun "well, bob it for me" from The Shakespear
liq [111]
As you said above, the word "bob" means fencing and you want to know how this can have a double meaning related to homophobes.
This is what I see the 2 meanings as:
1. fencing, as in taking out your fencing sword
2. take out your penis, as penis would be another word for sword in plays/books such as the one you're reading - this would be relating to gays if the convo was btwn 2 men

What does Emerson compare society to in the excerpt from “Self-Reliance”?
never [62]

Answer:

In his essay, "Self Reliance," Emerson's sole purpose is the want for people to avoid conformity. Emerson believed that in order for a man to truly be a man, he was to follow his own conscience and "do his own thing." Essentially, do what you believe is right instead of blindly following society.
