Answer:

D.type

Explanation:

FITT principle is a guideline for an effective exercise program depending on the main aim of the program. The F stands for frequency, I stands for intensity, the first T stands for time while the last T stands for type.

Frequency is a measure of how often the exercise is carried out, intensity is a measure of how rigorous the exercise is, time is a measure of the duration of the exercise while type refers to the different kinds of exercise that is carried in the program.

Swimming, walking, jumping, cycling, weight lifting, etc. are different types of types of exercise.

Hence, the choice of swimming instead of walking is an example of type as far as FITT principle is concerned.

The correct option is D.

Engulfing-phagocytic cells of innate immunity of vertebrates include _____. i) neutrophils ii) macrophages iii) dendritic cells
Kaylis [27]
The correct answer is I, II and III.
A phagocytic cell of a vertebrate organism is a critical component of the immune system. Its main action is to engulf and ingest foreign and possibly harmful particles, bacteria and dead or dying cells.

There are many different types of phagocytes and some of these include the macrophages, the neutrophils, and the dendritic cells.
The macrophages are phagocytic cells which can exit the bloodstream and detect pathogens outside the circulatory system.
Neutrophils contain toxic granules which can kill pathogens only by contact. Dendritic cells are located in the parts of the body which can easily be infected and can act as messengers who warn the body of threats. They do so by sending antigens as messages.

Describe two ways effects on society can impact the decision of whether to mine for resources in certain areas.
mel-nik [20]

In the certain area that people are looking to mine,it may have lots of people. If there a lots of people, and there is an explosion in the mine, lots of deaths would happen. If there was people with lots of sickness,or a huge hospital in the town this would be bad, because they would be spreading possibly toxic and lethal chemicals inside of the town and killing off all of the people. Truly the main reason for society impacting this is health and money. It may be expensive in this area.

Hope this helped!

Which sedimentary rock is most likely to have been deposited in a very high-energy stream?
melisa1 [442]

conglomerate

Explanation:

Conglomerates are will rounded clastic sedimentary rocks. They have very large particle sizes. They are used to interpret geological data when found in a sequence.

 • They infer a high energy environment because of their size.
 • Low energy environment will not be to carry sediments with large particle sizes.
 • They show that the sediment has traveled far from their source.
 • This can be deduced from their rounded shape.
 • It must have undergone episodes of rounding along its journey to the basin.
