One minute later at 8:01pm. One lighthouse will flash 3 times (at 20, 40 and 60 seconds)...the other will flash twice (at 30 and 60 seconds). So they will both flash 60 seconds later, at 8:01

vaieri [72.5K]

Answer:

(4, 3 ) and (4, - 3 )

Step-by-step explanation:

A distance of 5 units from the origin represents the hypotenuse of a right triangle with sides 3- 4 - 5

If the x-coordinate is 4 then the y-coordinate is | 3 | = ± 3

(Will give brainliest) Is my answer correct?? If not please correct me
Yuki888 [10]

Hey!

-------------------------------------------------

Answer:

(-6, 2) and (-7, -1) and (0, 0)

-------------------------------------------------

Explanation:

You reflected the triangle. You needed to translate the triangle.

y + 6 is to move up 6 units along the y-axis.

x - 5 is to move left 5 units along the x-axis.

Another thing, the question doesn't state was transformation to use so we are going to assume we are translating.

(3x)^2 write in expanded form use parentheses to indicate multiplication
Korolek [52]

Expand (3x)^2

When you see ^2, it means that the term(s) inside the parenthesis should be copied once, and multiplied.

(3x)^2 = (3x)(3x)

(3x)(3x) is your expanded form
