I think you should go to the film festival, take notes on the films that are being showed along with their creators, and overall make sure you make a very detailed account of everything that happens around you. Once you're ready to make the document, look at the notes you made and put it all together like you're writing a nice detailed essay about that. Write it like you're writing a magazine article.
