6 0

Answer:

if we get 0, when we plug the value of f(x) as 6 in f(x) then (x-6) is a factor of f(x)

  • f(x) = 2x⁴ - 3x³ + 4x - 3
  • f(6) = 2×6⁴ - 3×6³ + 4×6 - 3
  • f(6) = 2592 - 638 + 24 - 3
  • f(6) = 2616 - 641
  • f(6) = 1975

f(6) is not equal to 0

then (x-6) is not a factor of f(x) = 2x^4-3x^3+4x-3

Gavin drank 3/4 of a liter of orange juice from from a container, which was 3/8 of the orange that was originally in the contain
kow [346]

Answer:

2 liters of orange juice

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that Gaby drank 3/4 liters of juice

3/4 liters is the same as saying 0.75 liters

3/4 = 0.75

if 0.75 is 3/8 of the container we just have to divide it by 3 and multiply it by 8 and so we will get the liters of the container

(0.75/3) * 8 =

0.25 * 8 =

2

then initially in the container there were 2 liters of orange juice

If f(x)=2x-5 and g(x)=x^2-4x-8, find (f+g)(x).
viktelen [127]

f(x)=2x-5,\ g(x)=x^2-4x-8\\\\(f+g)(x)=f(x)+g(x)=(2x-5)+(x^2-4x-8)\\\\=2x-5+x^2-4x-8=x^2+(2x-4x)+(-5-8)=x^2-2x-13

What is the difference between formal and informal geometry
shutvik [7]

Answer:

There is a sub-field of geometry called formal geometry which is related to algebraic geometry and deals with topics such as formal schemes , topological rings , the comparison theorem in algebraic geometry , the Grothendieck existence theorem.

Informal geometry have the topics of definitions, measurements, and constructions of geometric shapes and figures. No attention to formal proofs is given. Subtopics include points, lines, angles, triangles, quadrilaterals, circles, area, and perimeter.
