Lack Of Employment

Could economic opportunity be a big factor of issues with society? From what I've found is that it can. According to jobs.lovetoknow.com they say “Unemployment affects society, entire communities and nations” this is also one of the main causes of homelessness. Many people become homeless because they can’t feed their families with the money they get from work. Employment is really important to stay financially stable. In my opinion I think people should be reached out to instead of people having to search for jobs. Some people may not have those skills of finding the right job or knowing if they will get the job at all.

Identify the comma rule that the following sentence breaks:
irina [24]

Answer:

Use a comma to set off a phrase or clause at the beginning of a sentence.

Explanation:

The sentence is made up of two clauses: a dependent clause which is "Although she loved her parents" and an independent clause which is "Sarah was eager to leave for college and be independent."

The grammar rule is that when a dependent clause or a phrase comes before an independent clause, a comma must be used after the dependent one or phrase in order to separate both groups of words. Here's the correct version of the sentence:

Although she loved her parents, Sarah was eager to leave for college and be independent.
