Texts, like text messages from a phone, are constructed on different topics. For example, a text depends on the person. Geographically, some people call things something different than a person on the other side of the country. Historically, people have made advancements, and by advancements I mean have figured out a way to get lazier in texting language. Now if I ask someone to do something, they may respond with a simple "k." Although "k" is a simple  response, it is interesting to compare "k" with "okay." "K" is not the only abbreviated texting language there is. "You" turning into "u," or "Where are you?" turns into "Where r u?" and many more. Socially texts help people communicate so that they don't go mentally crazy without talking to anyone. Overall, texts have advanced over time historically, culturally, geographically, and socially.
