Answer:

Solution:- In the given figure

Side of square= 10 cm

area of square =  side x side m= 10 x 10 = 100 sq cm

Now , diameter of semi circle AOD = 2r = 10cm

⇒ radius of  semi circle AOD = 5 cm

∴ area of AOD =

similarly Area of semicircle BOC =

Area of white portion in figure 1 = area of square - [ area of semicircle BOD + area of semicircle AOD]

=

Total area of white portion in the given figure=

∴Area of Shaded portion = area of square - area of total white portion

=

So the area of shaded portion is

Now perimeter of AD(which is a semicircle) = (as perimeter of semicircle=πr)

So the perimeter of shaded region = 4×perimeter of AD=4×15.7=62.8cm

The expression 16t^2 represents the distance in feet the object falls after t seconds. The object is dropped from a height of 90
Shtirlitz [24]

Answer:

824 feet

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

h(t) = 16t^2

H = 906 -- Initial Height

Required

Determine its height after 2 seconds

First, we calculate the distance covered in 2 seconds

h(t) = 16t^2

h(2) = 16*2^2

h(2) = 16*4

h(2) = 64

This means that the object moved a distance of 64feet

So, the object height is calculate by subtracting the distance covered from the object's initial height:

i.e.

Height = H - h(2)

Height = 906- 64

Height = 824
