Cassie was unhappy in her relationship with Richard. There wasn't anything wrong with him. He did cut her off occasionally while

she was trying to speak, but he was generally a good guy. She just wanted something different. She decided that tonight she would break up with Richard. When he arrived at her house, she wanted to talk with him about it, but he rushed her out the door. "No time to talk now, Babe," he said. "We're late for our dinner reservations." She figured that she would tell him at the restaurant, near the end of the meal. She would even offer to pay. So they enjoyed a delicious meal together. Then,
right before dessert, Cassie opened her mouth to let out the fatal words. "Richard..." she began, but Richard broke in. "Oh, Babe, I got a surprise for you." He pulled a small white envelope from his pocket. "Two front row tickets to see your favorite band. The Mountain Boys!" Cassie's mouth dropped. She loved the Mountain Boys. Richard backpedaled, "I'm sorry that I cut you off again. What was it that you wanted to tell me?" Cassie looked down at the piece of cake in front of her and replied, "Oh, I forgot. Nothing important."

What does this dramatic irony reveal about cassie?

A.She is going to break up with Richard at the concert.

B.She is going to get engaged at the concert.

C.She truly loves Richard.

D.She is actually Richard for the thing her gives her.

It could either be B or C. B makes sense because he was hurt by the cat, but C makes sense because his soul "took flight" from his body and "fiendish malevolence" thrilled him. Id go with choice C.

“Lennie dabbled his big paw in the water and wiggled his fingers…”
Archy [21]

Answer:

Lennie is a large man but is mentally disabled and acts like a child in Of Mice and Men.

Explanation:

His hand is compared to a "big paw" because he walks slow and drags his feet like a bear.  A child or bear cub would dabble their paw/hand in the water, then wiggle his fingers, not an adult.

In order to avoid any confusion, one should _____________the answer to a multiple choice question before reading the possible an
Ivan

The answer is A: predict.

Multiple choice questions tend to be intricate and, in most cases, at least two of the options are either semantically or meaningfully very close, so that choosing between them is the real test —if one can choose the right answer from those two options that are so close to each other, and amongst all options in general, then the student proves he or she has grasped the sense of the question. That is why, predicting the answer can assist the student in choosing the right answer by either confirming his prediction or testing it in order to come up with the right option.
