What amendment did franklin delano Roosevelt promise to repeal as part of his 1932 presidential campaign?
nataly862011 [7]

The correct answer is the 18th amendment.

The 18th amendment was passed in 1920 and resulted in making the transportation, sale, or distribution of alcohol in the United States illegal. This amendment was supposed to improve the moral standards in American society. However, it often time had the opposite effect. It also became wildly unpopular among millions of American citizens. This is why Franklin D. Roosevelt planned to repeal it when he was elected president, as it was a campaign issue that many people supported during this era.
