If this sounds like you, the first step is, to work out the reasons why you maybe underperforming, and the next step is, how to tackle the problem. Plan out, to help you achieve the grades you are capable of achieving.

Write your English 8 First Quarter Reflection and Next Quarter Goals.
In your reflection, tell the story of what you did, what happened at home, what got in the way, and how it affected your grade, what grade you deserve and why? In other words, evaluate your efforts, attitude, behavior, and habits.
