The social strata of the North and South were very similar. The class was a structure in both developed along a very similar line with a large lower class, a small middle class, and a much smaller upper class.
The difference between the North and South is that the north and south were also caused by conflict and were added to sectional differences. In the North, society was much more urban and industrial while the majority of people were employed.
Answer: The nile river is important to the egyptians because it made their economy possible. It made farming and trade possible. The river also produced water and food for them such as fish and birds (who lived around it).
