Answer:

D. It prevented elections in South Vietnam.

Explanation:

The Geneva Accords sanctioned a temporary division of Vietnam into two parts, North Vietnam and South Vietnam. Elections were supposed to be held in order to reunify the country. But the US and the West did not allow the elections to take place , fearing that a Communist candidate could win. So, two Vietnams became a permanent reality.  Reunification occured in April 1975, when the communists forces took Saigon, ending the Vietnam War.

Why were most American cities located along the Atlantic coats during the first 50 years of independence?
Maksim231197 [3]

I'm not sure if any of your answers are correct answers to the question asked.

Cities were mostly developed on the Atlantic coast as 1. that is where they landed and 2. they would have port access to Europe still.

As time went on, the British government did limit the growth westward.

The native peoples who lived in the Columbian Plateau region
Juli2301 [7.4K]

Explanation: Four of these tribes are the Yakama Umatilla, Warm Springs, and Nez Perce. These tribes are known as "Plateau Tribes" because their home is called the Columbia Plateau. The Plateau Indians are still here today. Many live in special areas called reservations that were set aside for them in the 1800s.
