section of DNA that is not expressed in the gene product is called
intron. The final messenger RNA molecule is called exon. Eukaryotic cells have
the enzyme to cut off the intron section to produce a continuous strand
of mRNA so that protein synthesis can occur. Prokaryotic cells can
express the information to produce protein directly as the mRNA does not
contain intron. </span>
It can replace, repair or be a new type of cell to benefit the host.
Cellular differentiation occurs throughout the cell development of a multi-cellular organism. It occurs when the cell changes from a simply zygote into a complex system of tissues and cell types.
<span>Stems cells are cells which have the potential to develop into many different cell types in the body during early life and growth. Stem cells serve as internal repair system in many tissues. When stem cells divide while undergoing cell differentiation, it can either retain being a stem cell or become another type of cell like muscle cell, brain cell, or red blood cell.<span> </span></span>
Speciation! Speciation occurs when a single species becomes two or more separate populations by a geographical barrier. This changes each population’s environment which forces them to adapt. Eventually these populations will become so different from each other that they will not be able to interbreed populations and create fertile offspring. This is what makes them different species, but they still share a common ancestor.
