Answer:

Animals should not be used for science projects.By:?

Although humans often benefit from successful animal research,Humans don't have a right to kill another life. Therefore, animals should not be used in research or to test the safety of products.

To begin with. The pain, the suffering, and the deaths of animals are not worth the possible human benefits. According to Lonestar.edu it says,¨ Animals feel pain in many of the same ways that humans do; in fact, their reactions to pain are virtually identical (both humans and animals scream, for example).¨Another example is ¨In the Draize test the substance or product being tested is placed in the eyes of an animal (generally a rabbit is used for this test); then the animal is monitored for damage to the cornea and other tissues in and near the eye. This test is intensely painful for the animal, and blindness, scarring, and death are generally the end results.¨

Morally it is wrong to make animals suffer. Any benefits to human beings that is obtained by animal testing can also be produced in other ways without harming animals. According to BBC.co.uk, ¨the level of suffering and the number of animals involved are both so high that the benefits to humanity don't provide moral justification.¨

It is cruel to torture another life. The other ways that can be used for research testing are experimenting on cell cultures, computer models, epidemiological studies.

This is violating animal rights. According to tampabaynewswire.com, ¨Just because they are not knowledgeable about consent, it doesn’t give humans the right to do as they please with animals.¨ Though animals cannot talk , they have the feeling to be free and live a painless life.

All in all , although humans often benefit from successful animal research,Humans don't have a right to kill another life,it is morally wrong and the pain, the suffering, and the deaths of animals are not worth the possible human benefits. Many animals, including dogs, cats, rats, mice, rabbits, pigs, and many others, are sacrificed in the name of scientific research. It is a tragedy that makes it important to understand that the choice is not between humans and animals, it violates fundamental animal rights and causes nothing but pain and suffering.

Select the best evidence to support the inference that sailors often used shorelines and islands to help them know their locatio
NARA [144]

Answer:

They have no map.

Explanation:

Sailors often used shorelines and islands to help them know their location because they have no map from which they got guidance. For example, an old sailor does not use map for traveling in the ocean due to its experience and some identification or symbols which he remembered that give him information about the way. These identification or symbols must be shorelines and islands because there is no other thing present in the ocean except these so the sailors used these symbols to know their location.

establishing the meaning of words in English and Spanish

Understanding that the phrase "el olvido" means 'oblivion' would help the reader get a better sense of what the poem is about. When a poem has elements of two languages, it's important to make sure you know what all the words mean before continuing to try to understand the message or theme.
