Their lives would be perfect and the story was always very simplistic: protagonist fights evil, wins, and they all live happily ever after. The age of realism, though, is quite the opposite. in this age, people focus not on the "perfect" character or world, but rather the flaws, changing emotions, and relatable problems that the characters suffer from. this caused the audience to have an intamte connection to the characters and the story. However, the comedy part is also in these stories.
