The Silk Road was a connection of trade routes from the Roman Empire to the Chinese Empire. The Silk Road was used to transport various goods and luxuries to either Rome or China, like Silk. The Road Crosses a huge desert at on the eastern side of the road. The Road splits into 2 different roads, the north road and the south road and met up at the other side of the desert. Ideas and diseases where transported along the Silk Road. The road created opportunities for merchants and travelers to make good money if they survived the journey. Each empire had great success and prosperity for their investment in the Silk Road and that reflect how early Trade Routes are very vital to both empires.
