The British were sent to confiscate colonial weapons, but they ran into an untrained/angry militia. 700 British troops died during the fight with this militia. The militia's surprise victory bolstered their confidence for the war ahead of them.

in areas where physical geography made farming more difficult for British colonists what else do you think they might have done
Kruka [31]
So the New Wngland colonies are agreat example for this. Massachusetts for example had particularly rocky soil and cold, long winters so crops did not really grow as well as they would have say, in New York or in Virginia. So while there were some small, family farms, the biggest industries in Massachusetts were ship building, fishing, and trading.

What is the Compromise of 1850 and why is it important?
Pavlova-9 [17]
The Compromise of 1850 consists of five laws passed in September of 1850 that dealt with the issue of slavery. In 1849 California requested permission to enter the Union as a free state, potentially upsetting the balance between the free and slave states in the U.S. Senate. Senator Henry Clay introduced a series of resolutions on January 29, 1850, in an attempt to seek a compromise and avert a crisis between North and South

If a cone has a volume of 250cm3 and a radius of 7 cm, how tall is it? sry about the history part its math
poizon [28]

Answer:

4.870 cm (correct me if i'm wrong i'm just a human)

Explanation:

formula for a cone: 1/3 x (pi—sorry cuz i dont have a pi symbol in my keyboard ha) x r² x h

pi= 22/7 @ 3.142...

r²= radius ^2

h = height

1/3 x (22/7) x 7² x h = 250 cm3

h = 250/ (1/3 x 22/7 x 7²)

=4.870 cm
