What is something that you wonder about the past? You might wonder why an event happened or how something got to be the way it i
polet [3.4K]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Something that I wonder about the past is the fact that if men really landed on the moon in July 1969, as NASA wanted us to believe.

Many decent sources have posed serious questions about the possibility that men did not get to the moon at that time. Many journalists affirm that was movie director Stanley Kubrick, the one in charge of staging that moment in a film studio.  Let's remember that in those years of the Cold War, the Soviet Union was ahead of the United States in the space race and the federal government desperately needed something to make US citizens believe that the US was making considerable progress too. And nothing better than creating a staging like this for the world to see.

The answer would be C) she was the first African American to attend an all-white school.

Back in the civil rights movements, schools were separated into a school for whites and a school for colored.

Naturally all-white schools has better education.

Ruby Bridges was a smart child but she was colored. They decided Ruby should have a better education. She was going to attend an all-white school. The students of the school were told not to go to school by their parents and the parents protested outside of the school everyday. Eventually, the parents had to let their children go to school and accepted Ruby Bridges as a student.

Hope this helped! :)

What helped make New York City the leading center of trade in the United States around 1825
kati45 [8]

The construction of the Erie Canal.

<em>"New York’s geographical advantage was supplemented by the construction of the Erie Canal (1817–1825), and with the establishment of the Black Ball Line in 1818. While the Erie Canal connected the Hudson River to the Great Lakes and consequently to the fastest-growing parts of America west of the Appalachian Mountains, the Black Ball Line provided the first-ever regularly scheduled transatlantic passenger service. Both the Canal and the Line helped to solidify New York’s place as America’s center of commercial trade and central transportation hub."</em>

Imperialism is a way in which the country is controlled by the use of either military forces or by an emperor. Americans have been in the support of imperialism since a long time especially in the nineteenth century.

People in America thought that it is needed to increase the trade and develop more by setting up new markets for it's goods and this could be done by increasing it's influence on the world through this policy.
