People were upset they weren't making as much money, or had as much power as other socials classes. There also upset they didn't have equal job or education opportunities. The wealth (land) distribution was unfair.

Social and economic inequality and also bad leaders.The inequality in opportunity for jobs, and wealth as well as political power. They also struggled to get food because of their low ranking.Because they were fed up with the social and political inequality. Also, Louis XVI chose who side with the 1st and 2nd Estates when presented with idea o changed the laws, this angered the 3rd Estate.
