Many goods in the Republic of Texas had a tarriff tax. Items that were considered luxuary goods had a higher tarriff then items

that were neccessity goods. What is the difference between a luxaury good and and neccesity good? Why do you think the tarriff was higher for luxury goods then for necessity goods?

Answer:A luxury good would be something that people buy for pleasure and is not essential to their survival. For example a video game, a book, an ipod. A necessity is an item that is essential to a persons survival. For example food, water, or building materials. A tariff tax would be high for luxury items because people did not need them to survive. If people could afford the luxury item then they could also afford to pay a higher tax for it. All people needed necessity goods so the tax needed to be lower so everyone could afford those items.

However with too much power in one party causes anarchy and chaos therefore allowing more segues for corruption and abuse of systems. Therefore when the system of power is abused or overused it takes funds that some governments don't have to fix the issues created.
