Spain - we can see that Spain explored the totality of Mexico, and that is why Mexico is still a Spanish-Speaking country. Spain also explored the Southwestern United States (Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada and California) which used to be part of Mexico as well. It also explored Florida and Cuba.

France - France colonial center was what is now Quebec, and that is why this Canadian region still speaks French. The French also explored the Midwest and the Mississippi Valley, and founded the city of New Orleans.

England - The English explored the East Coast, where the thirteen original colonies were founded. Despite being the smallest geographical area explored compared to the other two countries, it was the most succesful because it became the most populated.

The Protestants of the early United States tended to avoid marrying and continuing the bloodlines of Native Americans due to obvious racial tension and prejudice against them. Native Americans were eradicated on a larger scale in North America rather than South America, so there would be a greater amount of Natives there. (This is because of a more complex and somehow tolerant society in the South) However, there were obviously the mestizos. While there was reproduction between white people and natives, it was typically a result of harassment or an uncommon desire to start a family.

In summary, the amount of Native descendants in the United States is significantly lower now than centuries before because of endless eradication and little amounts of pure-blood Native Americans being born.

The Wade- Davis Bill was introduced after the Civil War. The goal of this bill was to help the Confederate states rejoin the Union after meeting certain requirements.

In this case, the Wade- Davis Bill wanted a majority of the population within a respective southern state to take the Ironclad oath. This oath essentially says that these individuals never supported the Confederacy in the past. This oath was supposed to prove these citizens loyalty to the United States moving forward.

Even though this is passed in Congress, it is pocket vetoed by Lincoln and never gets implemented into US society.
