Answer:

I used the first persons information so the credits are on them! I just turned it into an essay. I suggest you guys use quillbot.com to paraphrase it, so it won't  be sus.

Explanation:

Have you ever wondered what happened in the first and second world wars? Or how they were similar and different? Well in this essay that's exactly what I'll be talking about. I'm going to be contrasting the differences and similarities in both wars.

There are a bunch of differences between the wars. For example, .World War 1 started due to the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand while World War 2 started due to the instability of Germany. Hilter had also committed atrocities due to his own personal hate towards them while Kaiser Wilhelm had not done such things. The tactics of the wars were different as well, like how World War 1 tactics were the uses of trenches, while World War 2 tactics were the uses of Blitzkreig. Another difference is that the first world war is about gaining territories like colonies while the second world war is a war about ideologies (Fascism vs Communism).

Now I'll be talking about the similarities. The first one is that both Hitler and Kaiser Wilhelm wanted to expand their territories (Kaiser Wilhelm believed in Weltpolitik and Hitler believed in Lebensraum). This is an obvious one, but WW1 and WW2 were the bloodiest conflicts in history and the largest military conflict in history! There were genocides in both wars called Armenian Genocide and Holocaust, and the USA joined in both wars, crippling Germany in both wars. Their allies were the same as well, the entente had the same 3 main allies in World War 1 and 2 (Russia, France, and Britain).

In conclusion, both wars have multiple similarities such as the reason for the wars, both having genocides and similar allies. While the differences are how the tactics used in the wars were different, and they had different ideologies.
