In two or more sentences describe a procedure to increase the deposition of sediments at the mouth of a stream. Write your answe
wel

Answer:

A sediment is any solid material that is moved and deposited in a new place and can be anything from rocks, or the remains of plants and animals.

Therefore, one way of increasing the deposits of sediments at the mouth of a stream is by reducing the amount of vegetation living near the stream.

By doing this, there is no more cover for the soil and this causes erosion to occur and then the stream carries the loose sediment.

olga nikolaevna [1]

Areas are the geographic object of a geographic information system (gis) that is most likely used to show a particular zip code or a large tourist attraction.

A Geographic information system (GIS) is a laptop device that analyzes and presentations geographically referenced facts. It uses information that is attached to a completely unique location.

A geographic information system is a type of database containing geographic data, blended with software program tools for handling, reading, and visualizing those records.

An example of this kind of information is pc information amassed by satellites that show land use the place of farms, towns, and forests. remote sensing provides every other device that may be incorporated into a GIS. Far-off sensing consists of imagery and different statistics collected from satellites, balloons, and drones.

You will be asked to give examples of the 3 types of Isostatic Rebound, Sediment Deposition, or Erosion that has impacted the wa
VMariaS [17]
Isostatic rebound occurs when a load is imposed on or removed from the lithosphere. The surface tends to rise or sink as the lithosphere rises or sinks in the asthenosphere. Loads may consist of large lakes, oceans (on continental shelves during eustatic sea level rise), ice, sediment, thrust sheets, and volcanoes.

Deposition is the geological process in which sediments, soil and rocks are added to a landform or land mass. Wind, ice, water, and gravity transport previously weathered surface material, which, at the loss of enough kinetic energy in the fluid, is deposited, building up layers of sediment.

What causes the seasons? Explain. Be as precise and accurate as possible.
WITCHER [35]

Answer:

Rotation of the earth on its axis.

Explanation:

 • The earth is tilted at 23.5 degrees relative to its ecliptic plane and rotates in an anticlockwise direction around the sun this causes the winds in the earth to move from left to right in the northern hemisphere and in right to left in southern hemisphere knowns the Coriolis effect.
 • The impact of sun rays creates a system n the earth's landscape that makes the earth produce temperature inversions and relative earth has three pressure cells that move in a cyclic order from the equator to the poles.
 • It is also due to the angle of inclination around the sun that the earth experience cold and warm weather in summers as a result of the tilt the sun rays fall directly 90 degrees on the equator and are inclined toward the poles at the angle of 30 degrees.
 • Also, the presence of upper air jet streams and geostrophic winds influence the temperature ranges o the earth they bing in the warm and cold air masses from the other regions and equator being a region of mixing diverts all of these winds hence creating a good balance.
