Ok so this might be a bit confusing but I hope u understand it. Because the problem is in seconds, I tried to stick to seconds. In an hour there are 60 minutes and in those 60 minutes there are 3,600 seconds. Now in 25 seconds the mule deer can run 1/4 mile. So think for a second how many seconds it would take for it run a full mile. If u do the math then u would get 25*4 which is 100 seconds to run a full mile. Going back to our 3,600 seconds, all u have to do is divide it by 100 to get the miles. So 3,600/100 is 36. The mile deer runs 36 miles in an hour. I hope this was of help to u
Answer:
Step-by-step explanation:
For this exercise you need to remember a property called "Associative Property".
The Associative Property states that it does not matter how you group the numbers, because you will always obtained the same result.
For Additiion, the Associentive property states the following:
Where "a", "b" and "c" are Real numbers.
In this case you have:
As you can notice, the number 24 and the number 1 are grouped inside the parentheses, but you can also regroup the numbers 1 and 92 using parentheses and you will have the same result.
Therefore, based on the Associative Property explained before, you can conclude that:
Part 1:
A.53 =53
B.3^5/3^-6 =177147
C.(1/4)^3 • (1/4)^2 = 1
/1024
D.(-7)^5/(-7)^7 = 1/49
I tried my best for part 2 but i'm pretty sure it's not right. I think 1/1024 and 1/49 has a value between 0 and 1
Answer:
Step-by-step explanation:
Since I cannot see the image I cannot solve it entirely so you will have to figure some parts out, but I will try to help you as best as I can :)
So basically the formula for volume is:
L*W*H
So the volume of each cube is 1/8 cubic centimeters
Now, to solve you problem you must find the number of cubes for the length, width and the height
Let's call the length x, the width y and the height z
Then use the volume formula to find the number of 1/2 cm cubes in the figure
So xyz is the number of 1/2 cubes in the figure
To find the volume in cubic centimeters you have to multiply xyz by 1/8
That will be the volume
