AND THE ANSWER IS!!! A!

Let me explain why the other options do not work.

B - does not work because Japanese advances were in the far east, too far away to have any significant presence in Africa, if at all.

C - does not work because POW camps weren't even in Africa, they were usually in Germany itself, Poland and perhaps Austria.

D - does not work because the middle east wasn't a significant player at the time, in fact it was hardly involved at all.

Option A is correct - Because we had the Sicily invasion shortly thereafter, and invaded Italy, unfortunately, we did face a disastrous defeat at Kasserine Pass...

Without the influence of colonialism, would African countries be as ethnically diverse as they are today?
Fudgin [204]

Answer:

Most likely yes

Explanation:

Let's see all the ethnic tribes before colonization. I attached a picture of Africa before it was colonized and you could see all the different ethnic tribes there were. One of the most ethnically diverse countries was Nigeria which had 300> tribes all killing each other, and when the British came in they split it between the three largest tribes. Colonization put down all these different conflicts between the tribes, but colonization itself had a lot more negatives than positives.
