Technology is very needed in cold war. For example spy plane and nuclear.If nuclear doesn't exist, maybe the cuba would be invaded by the USA, and if spy tech doesn't exist, maybe the cold war would be a full blown war, between Nato and Warsaw Pact in Europe (WW3)
