Penelope basically tells the suitors that the man who can string the bow and shoot an arrow through 12 axe heads will win her hand and marriage. So disguised as a beggar Odysseus successfully strings the bow and grabs an arrow and shoots it straight through 12 axe heads. Eventually he makes his way back to Penelope but she isn’t convinced is really him. So she tells him that he can sleep outside her room on the bed on the bed that Odysseus carved. Oddysseus snapped and asked her who moved the his bed that was carved straight from the roots of a olive tree that the room was built around. Penelope knew that only he would have known about the bed so she instantly knew it was him.
He wants to get rid of the bicycle because it is broken and rusted. He is worried that his child may injure himself while riding it. He no longer needs a bicycle to help him make a living.
Simile and imagery
Hughes is using simile in this poem to compare what happens when you put off dreams. He compares deferred dreams to things with very strong sensory imagery like drying up "like a raisin in the sun" or stinking "like rotten meat". These details help the reader understand the heavy impact of what will happen if you put your dreams on hold.
You have to describe events chronologically. we got to attract readers so, start with a suspense introduction. Consider the topic. You should be able to weave your truth into a story that matters. It would not be a good narrative essay if you are not involved in your writing and don’t want to share your experience with others.
The point of view. Readers and listeners should clearly understand your role in the story, which is why it is so important to let them know all the details of the described event, as well as the explanation of your behavior in a particular situation.
Proving and supporting. You should not only show your opinion but also give arguments that support it. You can provide readers with any facts and references that showcase your thoughts and the results of your conclusions.
Do not give details that don’t mean anything to your story. They make your essay too wordy and can confuse readers. To determine whether specific details are needed, find out if they have significant roles in the plot.
Clear writing. Use simple words and appropriate language in the text.
