I believe that homework can be beneficial to a student, but it depends on the situation and context. If a student is struggling on a subject, homework would give them extra practice to learn the material they are struggling with. On the other hand, if a student understands the material and is doing well, there is no need for homework, as it would only give them extra, unnecessary work.
