This poster is better categorized as persuasion, as it attempts to convince the soldiers to do their part in silence. It does not use logical arguments or facts. Instead, it conveys this through emotions. It presents the spy as a scary figure lurking in the background. It also has the words "BEWARE" and "SILENCE" in all capitals and in a larger font than the rest of the writing in order to trigger an emotional response. This is an appeal to emotion, or pathos.
