My personal favorite book is Turtles All The Way Down by John Green, followed closely by The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. If you're into graphic novels, try On A Sunbeam by Tillie Walden or Nimona by Noelle Stevenson. :)

What made samantha's visit to the soviet union special?
Fofino [41]
The Samantha being referred to in this item is Samantha Smith, an 11-yeaar old fifth grader during 1983. She wrote a letter to the Russian president as part of a school project and the president replied to her personally. She was invited to visit USSR and accepted the invitation. While many believe that the warm welcome to the kid was a genuine act as part of the president wanting to have a close relationship with US, many also speculated that the invitation was merely an act.

Luda [366]

The correct alternative is letter B. Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka, in 1954, was a very well known case judged by the Supreme Court of the United States which has decided to be unconstitutional all racial segregation in public schools in the United States. This decision has overturned a previous decision of 1986, in the Plessy v. Ferguson which had validated racial segregation in public areas in the US, such as schools, hospitals and bus and train stations.
